Privacy Policy for Numzee

This Privacy Policy describes how Numzee (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Automatically Collected Information

• Anonymous User Identifier: When you first open the App, we create an anonymous account using Firebase Authentication. This generates a unique identifier that is not linked to your name, email, or any personal identity.

• Device Identifier: We generate a random app-scoped device identifier to associate your device with your anonymous account. This is not your hardware device ID.

• Game Scores and Progress: We store your game scores, high scores, play duration, difficulty level, and completion status to provide features such as play history and personal best tracking.

• App Usage Data: We collect basic analytics data such as which screens you visit and which games you play, using Firebase Analytics. This helps us understand how the App is used and improve the experience.

• Crash Reports: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash logs and diagnostic information when the App encounters an error. This may include device model, operating system version, and stack traces. No personally identifiable information is included.

• Performance Data: We use Firebase Performance Monitoring to measure app startup time and network response times to improve app performance.

1.2 User-Provided Information

• Display Name (Alias): You may optionally set a display name within the App. This is stored locally on your device and in our database linked to your anonymous account.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
• We do not collect your location data.
• We do not collect photos, contacts, or any files from your device.
• We do not use advertising SDKs or collect advertising identifiers in this version of the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Save and restore your game progress and high scores across sessions.
• Display your play history and personal statistics.
• Track daily play streaks and suggest games you have not tried yet.
• Analyze app usage patterns to improve the user experience.
• Diagnose and fix crashes and performance issues.

3. Data Storage and Security

• Game scores, anonymous user profiles, and device associations are stored in Google Cloud Firestore, a cloud database operated by Google.
• Game preferences and local settings are stored on your device using local storage (SharedPreferences).
• All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
• We use Firebase security rules to ensure that each user can only access their own data.

5. Data Retention

• Your game data is retained as long as your anonymous account exists.
• If you uninstall the App, your local data is deleted. Cloud data associated with your anonymous account may persist until we periodically clean up inactive accounts.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Since the App uses only anonymous authentication and does not collect personal information, it is suitable for general audiences. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Data Deletion

You can request deletion of all data associated with your anonymous account by contacting us at the email address below. Upon request, we will delete your user profile, device associations, and score history from our servers.

To delete local data, simply uninstall the App from your device.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
